Acrylic acid cathodic bottom temperature electrophoretic paint SH-2019S electrophoretic paint is an important coating for metal workpiece. As a new coating with low pollution, energy saving and corrosion resistance, it has many advantages. However, in the specific use process, there will inevitably be some defects, such as rough paint film, which needs our high attention.

Reasons for rough film of electrophoretic paint:

(1) The ratio of pigment to alkali in the tank liquid is too high.

(2) The coated workpieces and hanging tools entering the electrophoresis paint tank are not clean.

(3) Due to poor filtration, there are too many mechanical impurities in the electrophoresis paint tank.

(4) The content of cosolvent in the bath is low.

(5) The ultrafiltration spray effect is poor, and there are many paint spots on the workpiece.

(6) After electrophoresis, UF1, UF2 and pure water 2 are not cleaned enough or used.

Methods to avoid rough film of electrophoretic paint

(1) Adjust the ratio of pigment to base material according to the test results.

(2) Strengthen the management of bath liquid and utensils, and insist that each process and link should meet the coating requirements.

(3) Regularly check and replace the filter bag to strengthen filtration.

(4) Check the content of cosolvent regularly according to the technical requirements and keep the content of cosolvent within the control range.

(5) Improve the spray effect of ultrafiltration to prevent excessive paint hanging on the workpiece.

(6) Strengthen the cleaning after electrophoresis.
